jaden and owen (with mamas and gramma patty) went on a story and stroll at tryon creek state park. we learned about animals that hide. the kids sorta wore their outfits.

aunt jen had a fun birthday at the local mexican food place.

So, it was the big 40! Happy birthday to Courtney, thanks for the great flowers dan.  On Wednesday, GrammaPatty hosted a “foods” of Courtney dinner with the family plus Chris, Margot and Jonathan. Saturday was the party at Max’s Fanno Creek Pub. Friends and kids were abundant. There was a quiz and prizes. Matt Koozer and Jeannette Idiart won the 80s cds, not just for the right answers but for their enthusiasm. We went to the fair again. This year there was a slide and we petted the bunnies.

We went to Seaside with the Starks. It rained. We had a good time.
